Building KidsRewear for everyone
We want every parent and caregiver to browse, sell, and shop comfortably. This page outlines what we do today and how to request fixes.
Last updated: April 2, 2026
What we commit to
- Follow WCAG 2.1 AA guidance for color contrast, focus states, and keyboard navigation.
- Keep core journeys usable without a mouse: account, login, browse, cart, checkout, support.
- Use semantic HTML landmarks so screen reader users can skip to key sections.
- Provide visible focus rings that meet contrast guidelines in light and dark themes.
- Avoid motion that cannot be reduced; respect the prefers-reduced-motion setting.
- Label form inputs clearly and connect labels to inputs for assistive tech.
Work in progress
- Auditing dynamic components (drawers, modals, toasts) for ARIA roles and focus traps.
- Adding alt text coverage to all Cloudinary images uploaded by admins.
- Expanding keyboard shortcuts for support chat and dashboards.
If you rely on a specific assistive technology and run into an issue, tell us so we can prioritize it.
Request support or report a barrier
If you encounter a problem using a screen reader, keyboard navigation, captions, or any other assistive technology, please reach out with specifics so we can reproduce and fix it quickly.
- • Which device, browser, and assistive tech (e.g., VoiceOver, NVDA, TalkBack)?
- • The page URL and what you were trying to do (checkout, submit a box, etc.).
- • Any error messages or unexpected behavior.
